South Korea's largest chemical company, LG Chem , will resume operations of its Yeosu naphtha cracker on Thursday after a brief shutdown, as reported by Reuters. The cracker shut "due to a minor problem", as per a company spokesman.
The facility can process 1.16 mln tpa of naphtha into petrochemicals. LG Chem also operates a 1.04 million tpa naphtha cracker located in Daesan.
