LG International plans to supply pp to UK with Omani JV

LG International's new joint venture PP plant in Oman with Omani Petrochemicals is targeting European sales of 100,000 tpa from its total capacity of 340,000 tpa. LG International aims to supply to the markets in UK to the tune of 20,000 tpa of polypropylene, within two years. Initially, the company will target injection moulding, BOPP (fibre), extrusion, thermoforming and film sectors in a range of melt flow indices including a high flow MFI 55 type.
