With effect from September 1, 2009, LyondellBasell has raised prices of its polyethylene and polypropylene grades in Europe. To keep up with rising feedstock prices, the price for PE was hiked by €120/ton and by €125/ton for PP. NWE contracts for ethylene have risen previously by € 80 to €875/ton, propylene contracts rose by €93 to €778/ton.
