Fina Antwerp Olefins NV, a petrochemical venture of Total SA and Exxon Mobil Corp., plans to conduct maintenance at its naphtha cracker next month, as per Bloomberg. Naphtha cracker 3 with capacity to produce 610,000 tpa ethylene, will be idled at the site in Belgium from the end of March for about six weeks.
Naphtha cracker 2, 550,000 tpa of ethylene at the same site was shut for a few hours on Feb. 25 because of pressure problems.
