South Korea's SK Innovation plans to shut its polyolefin units for scheduled maintenance in October-November, as per Platts. The company's No. 1 220,000 tpa polyethylene unit will be closed for 24 days from October 12 to November 4, while its No. 2 190,000 tpa PE unit will be taken offline for 17 days from October 20 to November 5. SK's No. 1 183,000 tpa polypropylene unit will be idle for 16 days from October 18 to November 2, while its No. 2 193,000 tpa PP unit will be taken down for 16 days from October 20 to November 4.
