Symphony Environmental Technologies Plc, a world leader in oxo-biodegradable plastic technology has launched an environmentally friendly initiative with Mexico's Grupo Bimbo, the most extensive packaging distribution network in the country. The agreement which was completed through Symphony's wholly owned subsidiary, Symphony Environmental Ltd. (SEL) enables Mexico's Bimbo to use d2w™ additive technology in its packaging following extensive successful trials. The distribution and support services will be led by Symphony's Mexican, Central American and Latin American distribution network.
The new packaging containing d2w™ additive technology will be in all main supermarkets and retail outlets in Mexico City (population 18 million) from this week and in other locations throughout Mexico and Latin America within the next few months. Following stringent quality guidelines, the new eco-compatible packaging is being manufactured with d2w™ additive technology for Bimbo by many plastic producers throughout Mexico and Latin America. As per a senior official at SEL, the firm is delighted to be involved with Mexico's extensive packaging distributor for incorporating d2w™ additive technology to create eco-compatible packaging and improving the quality of the environment.
