Mitsubishi Chemical Corp plans to restart the No 2 naphtha cracker at Kashima with capacity to produce 453,000 tpa of ethylene. It’s No 1 cracker with capacity to produce 375,000 tpa ethylene has been shut for maintenance. Mitsubishi plans to restart the cracker by end of June.
