New mixed metal stabilizers for PVC free of ptBBA, nonyl phenol and 2-EHA

31-Jan-09
American specialty chemicals company Chemtura has recently launched their new, Mark® mixed metal, liquid stabilizer range of additives for PVC that are free of ptBBA (para-tertiarybutyl benzoic acid), nonyl phenol and 2-EHA (2-ethyl hexanoic acid). The company clams that the substances in our mixed metals have been successfully pre-registered under REACH and do not contain any components which may be subject to authorization such as carcinogenic, mutagenic or reprotoxic (CMR) materials. The new stabilizers will be available in two ranges, the Mark® 800 series and Mark® 900 series and are designed to perform in applications where traditional liquid mixed metals are currently used.
