Oil dips as weak Chinese manufacturing activity fuelled concerns over energy demand

New York's main contract dipped to US$96.1, while Brent North Sea crude for August dipped to US$101.7. Oil prices were down in Asia on release of official purchasing managers index cthat fell to 50.1 in June, down from 50.8 in May. The weak Chinese manufacturing figures fuelled concerns over energy demand n China.
