Oil prices have slipped below US$76 on market anxiety about latest US supply figures

Oil prices have dropped below US$76 a barrel, as the market awaits the latest US supply figures for clues about the strength of demand for crude. Crude inventories are expected to have risen by 2.2 mln barrels last week, according to analysts surveyed by Platts. Other figures being watched will include the latest U.S. indicators including gross domestic product, car sales and industrial production.
