Kemya is a 50:50 joint venture between SABIC and ExxonMobil Kemya plans to shut down its 240,000 mta low density polyethylene (LDPE)line at Al-Jubail. However, the linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) lines would continue to be run at close to 100% rates during the shutdown period. Kemya operates 2 LLDPE lines with a combined capacity of 900,0000 mta at its site in Al-Jubail.
