ONGC to commission first petrochem plant by end of 2010

At the first ever board meeting of ONGC Petro Additions Ltd (OPaL), , the company plans to invest Rs 13,600 crore in its proposed petrochemicals complex at Dahej. OpaL is a joint venture between the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) and Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC), marking ONGC's foray into the profitable petrochemicals sector.
