The Petron Corporation's Bataan Refinery in the Philippines has successfully commissioned a new LVN Isomerization - Penex(TM) Process unit with DIP and DIH columns, processing 10,000 bpd of light straight-run naphtha, completing Petron's new naphtha complex.
The Penex process produces premium isomerate, a high-octane gasoline blending component from light naphtha for the production of ultra-clean gasoline. The naphtha complex also includes a CCR Platforming(TM) unit that operates at 17,000 bpd capacity.
