Planned maintenance shutdown at one of Reliance’s paraxylene plants

Indian petrochemicals major Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) has announced a planned maintenance shutdown of one of its three paraxylene units at Jamnagar in Gujarat, as per Netindianewsnetwork. The scheduled shutdown period is approximately for a period of six weeks, and will also be utilized to improve reliability and performance of the unit. The other two paraxylene units will continue to operate normally. RIL has a total capacity of 1.8 million tpa of paraxylene at Jamnagar.
