Plastindia selects it new leadership team for 2012-2015

The reins of Plastindia Foundation will be handed over to Shri Bipin Shah and the New Managing Committee who will definitely have an image building task comparing the achievement of last 25 years and 7 Presidents. The leadership position given to him was unanimous which shows confidence of the industry. OFFICE BEARERS 2012-2015 Mr. Bipin Shah - President A Chemical Engineer and US educated, experienced Plastic Technologist, an innovator, and first generation entrepreneur who has immensely contributed to the development of Plastics and Polymer products in the country in the last four decades. He has practiced multi- technology implementation in the area of Injection Moulding, Extrusion Coating, Application Engineering plastics for replacement of metals and a host of first of its kind products using varieties of polymers. A little known in Packaging ,Electric Appliances and Metal fabrication. His other strengths are extending the shelf life of packaged foods and energy conservation. He has contributed to manpower development and education at ITI level and enhancing skills of trained professionals in the mainstream. His efforts in this direction have resulted in the University of Wisconsin and University of Massachusetts as Education Partners for Plastindia International University. His services have been well recognised by various coveted awards he has received from the Industry and Educational Institutions, for eg. 'Distinguished Member Award' by Indian Plastic Institute, 'Udyog Patra Award' at the hands of the Vice-President of India -Shri Mohammed Hidyatullah, ''Distinguished Alumini' Award- UICT'. A man dedicated to society, committed to growth and innovation, and a desire to put Indian Plastic Industry on the world map. The Industry looks forward for his leadership and to carry the Polymer Torch for worldwide recognition of India as a 'Sourcing Hub' for products and trained manpower. His team will work in unison for the industry's development and provide enough challenges to achieve 250% growth in the next 10 years. Let us all support the new Team and their vision.
