China is likely to double its production capacity of propylene by 2011 to 14.7 million mt from 7.4 million mt in 2005. It expected to grow yearly on an average of 12.3% between 2005 and 2011.
Middle East growth rate will be even faster as the production capacity will increase more than three fold during the corresponding period. The production is expected to reach to 8.8 million metric ton from 2.6 million mt in 2005
