Rohm & Haas opens plastics additives facility in Turkey

In an effort to become leading provider of plastic additives in Eastern and Central Europe, Rohm and Haas has recently started its manufacturing facility in Gebze, Turkey, for Plastics Additives Acrylic Impact Modifier and Processing Aids. The new 40,000 tpa Turkish manufacturing plant will fuel growing demand for acrylic impact modifiers and processing aids in this strategic growth region and supply to industries including building and construction, packaging and the like. The plant will both serve the Turkish market and also be used as an export platform to both the Central and Eastern European countries and to the Middle East. The company opted Gebze as favourable location due the available chemical industrial facilities, transportation connections allowing excellent logistics.
