Saipem was awarded an E&C onshore engineering, procurement and construction contract for the expansion of the Versalis ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) plant in Ferrara, Italy for approximately US$275 mln. The project encompasses the construction of a fourth production line to operate alongside the three existing lines, in addition to increasing their production capacity and upgrading the plant's auxiliary systems. The expansion work will be completed by Q2-2016. Capacity will be increased up to 130,000 tpa.
