Samsung Total Petrochemicals Co. bought 25,000 metric tons of naphtha for delivery to South Korea in H2-September, according to market players in Bloomberg. The company purchased open-spec naphtha last week at a premium of about US$6-7/ton to benchmark Japan prices.
