Samsung Total Petrochemicals sells first naphtha cargo amid squeezed supply to Asia

South Korea's Samsung Total Petrochemicals, a regular importer of naphtha, has sold its first naphtha cargo at a time when supply to Asia is being squeezed, ass per traders in Reuters. The petrochemical maker, which operates a 1 mln tpa naphtha cracker, a condensate splitter and a naphtha splitter, sold 30,000 tons of the light grade for first-half March lifting from Daesan. The price and buyer of the cargo has not been disclosed.
