Severe Weather Impacts PVC and VCM Supply

Effective immediately, Westlake Vinyls, Inc. ("Westlake") and Axial!, LLC ("Axiall") are declaring a system-wide force majeure condition for PVC and VCM manufactured and shipped from its North American operations.

The Westlake/Axiall North American Operations have been directly and indirectly adversely impacted by the severe cold weather conditions.

At this time, we are not able to predict the duration of this force majeure condition. This force majeure condition will cause supply disruptions and limit our ability to meet anticipated product demand. While this force majeure event declaration is required at this time, Westlake/Axiall is continuing to work on commercial options to lessen the impact on our customers.
