Sharp fall in naphtha prices in Europe

27-Jun-11
Naphtha prices in Europe ended the previous week with a sharp fall, in line with deteriorating crude oil prices amid limited market activity on account of volatile crude prices. BASF and Sabic bid between US$875-880/ton CIF NW, with offers from Glencore pegged at US$882/ton. This is a sharp drop from mid week offers at around US$948/ton.
