Smithers Rapra, a subsidiary of the US-based independent testing, consulting and contract research organisation, The Smithers Group announces a new short course 'Polyurethanes Made Simple' to be held this year. The course answers the need for a basic introductory level course for newcomers to the industry and for people who have only a limited understanding or who have had very little in the way of formal technical training in Polyurethanes. Course leader is Martyn Bentley, formerly of Huntsman Polyurethanes, now Managing Director of Cromar Solutions Ltd., Martyn is joined by Colin Tweedale, Associate Consultant with Cromar Solutions. During the 2 days they will explain the fundamentals of PU chemistry and processing technologies and provide an insight into the structure of the PU industry.
'Polyurethanes made Simple' will take place at Smithers Rapra, Shawbury, Shropshire, UK on 1st-2nd April 2008.
