Siam Cement Group (SCG) has confirmed its interest in acquiring Temasek Holdings' 23% stake in PT Chandra Asri, Indonesia's sole cracker for US$400 ml, as per Bangkokpost. SCG and PTT Plc, Thailand's energy flagship, are reportedly among potential buyers of Temasek Holdings' 23% stake in PT Chandra Asri, Indonesia's sole cracker.
Temasek-Singapore's state-owned investment arm first acquired 50% of the petrochemical maker in 2006 but later diluted its ownership to 22.9%.
