Sibur has sold its 100% stake in OJSC Plastik, a styrenics producer based in Uzlovaya, Russia, to a group of private investors. Moscow-based Sibur said the deal value totalled RUB 575 mln, as per European Plastics News. OJSC Plastik’s facilities have the annual capacity to produce 60,000 tons of styrene, 11,000 tons of expandable polystyrene, 23,000 tons of ABS polymers, and 6,380 tons of separators and phenolic plastics.
