SK Group has inked a deal to be part of a project to build a major petrochemical complex in China with Sinopec and British Petroleum, with production facilities for butanediol, acetic acid and ammonia in the southwestern Chinese city of Chongqing. The 1.2 trillion-won complex will break ground as early as July/August 2012, and is expected to be complete as early as 2014.
