Twinings, the English tea company has selected a sustainable and compostable film supplied by Innovia Films to wrap its teabags. The metalized NatureFlex™ NM packaging film used for its teabags provides advantages for packing and converting such as inherent deadfold and anti-static properties. It also offers high gloss, high resistance to grease and oil and good barrier to gases and aromas. As a result this new packaging allows not only to protect the teabags but also to reduce the waste customers through home composting.
