YNCC plans turnaround at No.3 aromatics unit in 2014

South Korea’s Yeochun Naphtha Cracking Center (YNCC) isplanning a maintenance shutdown at its Yeosu-based No.3 aromatics unit next year. “The No.3 aromatics unit is planned to be shut for maintenance turnaround in September 2014,” a company official told fibre2fashion. “The plant is likely to remain off-steam for around 40-45 days,” the official added. The plant has annual capacity to produce 110,000 mt of benzene, 55,000-60,000 mt of toluene and 35,000-40,000 mt of solvent-MX.
