This is a non breathable pouch with respect to oxygen and moisture. The laminate constitutes special grade of polyester and co-extruded Poly film. The two films are laminated by two component adhesives which further strengthen the temperature resistance of the laminate.
The laminate is kept transparent in order that people see the gravy at the point of purchase.
The laminate is in position to undertake thermal treatment upto 110 degrees Centigrade for about 35 minutes which facilitates sterilization.
Sterilization method is very cost effective as it needs only hot boiling water and pouches are heat treated in the water for 25 minutes.
The filling and sealing of the pouches is also made very user friendly and it seals through contamination. Our sealing of inner sealant layer polymer is such, that even any ordinary impulse sealer or constant heat sealer can deliver the results. A simple Trick of the Trade is, you have to seal pouches devoid of any atmospheric air and hence sealing through contamination is a great help. This can easily be practiced in any kitchen. The sterilized pouches are self stable at room temperature and we have tried for 60 to 90 days.
The concept is excellent for food courts, mass cooking kitchen but small portions can easily be shown through retail chain for homes. The concept takes away cumbersome aspect of buying ingredients, cleaning and cooking which saves time for preparation. At the same time, it is very much like home cooked food for final satisfaction of taste buds.
