Automotive products, including fuel tanks, are the largest sector of industrial blow moulding. This sector is expected to grow at about 4% in North America and could grow marginally better in Europe . Asia is not likely to show the same growth.
Interestingly, garden blow moulded parts are expected to show better growth compared to automotive sector. The garden blow moulded products are expected to show almost 6% or if not at least 5% growth in North America . Europe and Asia however may lag behind North America .
Leisure blow moulded products are not likely to show even 3-4% growth in North America the single largest market in the World.
Toy sector is expected to show a negative growth to the extent of almost 5% in North America . However, Asia because of China , will compensate this negative growth to some extent.
Overall the global market of blow moulded toy sector will either remain stagnant or reduce marginally. All other sectors are not likely to grow well. Besides they are relatively small in size and therefore would not influence the overall growth to as great extent.

HDPE is the major material used for industrial blow moulding (more than 85-90%) and therefore this sector will not be able to contribute to the total growth of HDPE. Over all impact of the slower growth of this sector however would not affect the overall growth of HDPE by more than 0.1 %
