In a move that will secure material supply, DSM Engineering Plastics plans to acquire the polymerisation assets of Diolen Industrial Fibres BV, including polyester polymer production unit in Emmen, the Netherlands.
The polyester polymer production unit will be integrated with DSM's polyester compounding facility also in Emmen, providing the company backward integration into polyester polymer production for its engineering plastic product lines Arnitel TPC, Arnite PBT and Arnite PET.
