Dow Chemical has completed polyols expansion at its plant at Terneuzen, The Netherlands. With this expansion, capacity at the site will increase by 180,000 tpa, raising capacity to 530,000 tpa. The plant is scheduled to come onstream after overshooting a self-imposed completion target by just a few months. Much of the feedstock propylene oxide required for the polyols unit will be supplied from the HPPO plant Dow built in cooperation with BASF.
