Taiwan's Formosa Chemicals & Fiber Corp.'s No. 3 SM plant in Mailiao is running at 70% of its 600,000 tpa capacity after restarting over the weekend, as per Platts. Currently, the producer will not be able to increase runs due to insufficient supplies of feedstock ethylene. FCFC had to shut its No. 1 and No. 3 SM plants in Mailiao on June 20 because of a power cut at upstream Formosa Petrochemical, which forced the shutdown of its No. 2 and No. 3 naphtha-fed steam crackers at Mailiao.
