"TKOC" - Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC) and US-based Dow Chemical's joint venture is in its final stages. An agreement for the same is expected to be signed by end of year. The joint venture is to cost the Kuwaiti counterpart US$9 bln with profits estimated at US$11 bln annually.
TKOC has completed the construction of a grassroots ethylene-glycol unit for the EG2 project at Shuaiba Industrial Area which is the biggest of its kind, with a study being carried out for EG3.
