To take advantage of growing demand from the construction industry, Nova Innovene plans to embark upon debottlenecking programmes at all its EPS manufacturing sites in Europe, to increase production capacity from 350,000 tpa to 410,000 tpa. The additional volumes will be brought on stream over the next 12 months.
Nova Innovene is a joint venture between Nova Chemicals and Ineos. The demand growth is primarily driven by activity in the construction market, with insulation becoming recognised as the most effective way of improving the energy efficiency of buildings.
