Operating rates at Yibin Tianyuan Chemical Co.'s PVC plant have been brought down to 70% capacity. Sichuan Jinlu Group Corp is currently persisting with a 50% reduction in operating rates at its PVC plant. Guizhou Anlong Chemical Co.'s 100,000 tpa PVC plant has been shuttered for the moment as the company has been facing technical problems since the weekend. Start up is scheduled shortly. Faced undue cost pressures and lackluster market sentiments, bringing down sales, the 100,000 tpa PVC plant of Hengyang Kingboard Co was forced to shut down. Most of these companies have down adjusted their PVC offers.
