Swedish Chemical Group, Perstorp will raise prices for its HDI (Hexamethylene Di-isocyanate) and IPDI (Isophore Di-isocyanate) monomers and derivatives effective from Oct 15, 2008 or as contracts permit. Price increases will range from 10% to 15% across the product range. The rise in prices is attributed to substantially higher cost of operation mainly related to raw materials and utilities.
