Yeochun NCC Co Ltd (YNCC) has shut its 450,000 tpa No.3 naphtha on Sunday due to unexpected power cut, as per Reuters, and could take up to one week to restart the cracker. YNCC’s two other crackers with a combined capacity of 1.4 mln tpa continue to operate normally. The shutdown is viewed as having only a marginal impact on the regional market if it lasts less than a week.
