Sinopec completes construction of 1 mln tpa ethylene project at Zhenhai refinery

Sinopec has completed construction on an ethylene project at the Zhenhai refinery in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. The project will have capacity to produce 1 million tpa of ethylene and has been built at a total investment outlay of of RMB 23.5 bln for construction of the ethylene project and supporting facilities. Upon the completion of the ethylene project, the Zhenhai refinery becomes the country's largest refinery and the biggest ethylene production base.
