A new panel set up to oversee affairs of Haldia Petrochemical

A little over three months after taking control over the ailing Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, the West Bengal Government said that a Committee of Secretaries has been set up to oversee the affairs of the company, as per The Hindu. A Committee of Ministers is already looking into the company’s functioning. The Committee of Ministers set up earlier has already submitted its recommendations for reviving the company. “Now, the Government approved the setting up of a Committee of Secretaries which will monitor the implementation of the measures recommended by the committee of Ministers.”
