The All India Plastics Manufacturers Association (AIPMA) being one of the largest apex bodies of Plastics Industry of India has once again risen to the call of humanity and will be distributing flood relief kits to the victims of the recent deluge in Maharashtra covering severely affected places in western and central suburbs of Mumbai. An amount of Rs.10,00,000 has been earmarked by The All India Plastics Manufacturers' Association. This is in addition to the donations expected from the members of industry.
In the first phase 4000 kits each containing plastic bucket, mat, mug and tarpaulin have been prepared and the distribution will commence from Monday, the 22nd August 2005.
AIPMA is happy to inform that Shri Jayant Patil, Hon'ble Finance Minister, Government of Maharashtra has kindly agreed to commence this noble task on behalf of AIPMA with his benign hands at around 1.15 p.m. on Monday the 22nd of August.
AIPMA urges its memebers and the plastics industry to contribute generously to this noble cause.
