The Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India has informed about Anti Dumping Investigation initiated by Brazil. The details of the same are as given below:
On January 3, 2013, Brazil initiated an antidumping investigation with respect to imports of liquid epoxy resins originating from India,South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, China, and Taiwan. Brief details of the same are as below:
Petitioner: Dow Sudeste Industrial Ltda.
Subject Product: The product under investigation is liquid epoxy resins, defined as pure liquid resins and all blends of liquid resins with a base of Bisphenol A.
Tariff Category: The product is commonly classified under tariff headings 3907.30.11, 3907.30.19, 3907.30.21, 3907.30.22 and 3907.30.29 of the MERCOSUR Common Nomenclature (NCM / HS).
Period of Investigation: April 2011 to March 2012.
Time frame: Deadline to submit the questionnaire is approximately 40 days from January 3, 2013, with an extension of up to an additional 30 days.
