Argentina's YPF to acquire stake in petrochemical companies Petroken and Petrocuyo

Argentina's YPF will invest US$122 mln to acquire 50% stake in Petroken and 46% stake in the titles of Petrocuyo, both polymer producers. The acquisition is subject to certain conditions, and sale is expected to be complete by the end of the year. Petroken is a wholly owned subsidiary of LyondellBasell. Once the transactions are closed, YPF and Grupo Inversor Petroquimica will have equal stakes in Petroken and Petrocuyo.
