Aromatics maker Dalian Fujia Dahua procures naphtha from Egypt

China’s aromatics producer Dalian Fujia Dahua Petrochemical Co has procured about 300,000 tons of Egyptian naphtha for September-December lifting. The feedstock will feed its aromatics plant that is operating at high rates. Fujia Dahua's aromatics complex has an annual nameplate capacity of 700,000 tons of paraxylene and 350,000 tons of benzene. Earlier, the company had procured 540,000 tons of heavy, full-range naphtha from Egyptian in the third quarter. During the July-September period, Fujia Dahua was reported to have lifted 9 free-on- board cargoes of 25,000 tons each from Alexandria and 9 FOB cargoes of 35,000 tons each from the Suez.
