Aromatics Thailand Plc (ATC), a subsidiary of PTT recently signed contracts to export 201,000 tons of benzene to buyers in China, Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia this year. Traditionally, ATC exports benezene, it's key aromatics product, from its 480,000 tpa plant, to the US. In addition, benzene will also be sold to ATC's local customers such as Siam Styrene Monomer Co and TPI Plc in long-term contracts.
The export contracts will help improve ATC's market stability and also guarantee that ATC's complex runs at peak efficiency.
