Basell is to partner a world-scale ethane-fed petrochemicals and plastics complex in western Kazakhstan along with two others- KazMunayGaz Exploration & Production and SAT & Company. The petrochemical complex is to include PP and PE production using Basell's technology and is scheduled to be operational in 2010. Basell will also provide sales and marketing services.
