Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited (BCPL) - the Assam gas cracker project at Lepetkata is crawling towards completion and should be able to commence production early next year, with mechanical completion of the plant likely to be achieved by August 2014. A minimum of six months after commissioning the unit is required to commence production.
