The aromatics market in remained lackluster on Monday, as benzene prices inched down at US$995-1,005/mt FOB Korea for May shipment with no confirmed deals. Despite downstream styrene monomer market remaining very quiet, prices were stable.
Toluene prices fell for April shipment, but May prices were assessed higher at US$800-810/mt FOB as a couple of deals were successfully done at around USD805/mt FOB Korea.
