In a market abound with uncertainties, both buyers and sellers of benzene have opted to wait in the sidelines. As the market awaits offers and bids, benzene markets have remained dull and monotonous in Asia, steadying prices at US$330/MT FOB S. Korea for January shipment. Last week benzene prices spiked by almost 40 dollars to US$330/MT in line with optimistic oil prices.
