Indústrias Romi S.A., Brazil-based leading plastics injection molding machine maker, will unveil its first Sandretto electric injection molding machine - EL150 at Plast 2009 (March 24 - 28, Milan). Sandretto EL150 was jointly developed by the company's teams in Brazil and in Italy. The machine has the e-ONE control panel from Sandretto Nove HP series and is recommended for the injection of high precision parts, such as components for mobile phones, medical and electrical-electronic parts, among others. The company will demonstrate producing a medical part--a non-return valve for a dialysis system--made of polycarbonate (Makrolon 2458- 55/115 Bayer), on a 24-cavity mold on a 150 ton of clamping force machine.
In addition, Romi will present a variety of applications on Sandretto injection molding machines: Nove HPF 200, a fast cycle machine of 200 ton clamping force; Nove HPF 220, an injection machine for general technical use of 220 ton clamping force, which will run parts using the High Gloss system; and Mega 820 TESD, a large, hybrid machine with electric plasticizing unit, with 820 ton clamping force.
